Shame this doesn't stack with the 10% off MacBooks happening at the moment. :(

  • Last store credit I should have got $40 and I got $10 and you can only use it on spending a large amount not on it's own.

    • +2

nah, July 14th mate, check T&C, they deliver to your email July 14th

      • Holding out hope… I called their phone line today to try and get that store credit and they no longer do phone support? Thanks for the information.

      • -1

last one came via sms and you have to open in a certain amount of time to get the credit

        • +2

Sounds like you’re talking about the store credit they give you for accessing a digital invoice (which is an ongoing offer), not the promotional $40. As mentioned above that promotional credit hasn’t been issued yet.

  • If I add on home service and delivery it won’t invalidate it right? It should just calculate the price without them?

Good to see we can redeem gift cards on this one

    • +3

It should just calculate the price without them?

Yep, cashback is calculated based on the cost of the item you're purchasing excl. GST.

  • dang just bought a cooktop last night -_ -

    • cancel the order

      • Nah picked up and installed already haha

        • +4

Order another one…'return' the first one

  • Atleast they are offering $60 credit regardless of pickup/delivery.

  • So, just double check, Dell laptop on sale price is eligible?

  • how much can you usually knock off the price of a fridge in a negotiated deal if I give the guy a call or go in-store?

    • +2

I looked up the GG commercial price, then called and they offered to beat that price. Got about 500 off a 2000 washing machine, same with dryer. But was a bit of a bundle.

      • Thanks! What's the GG Commercial price for a GT-3S 315L LG fridge? Can you possibly check for me? Need to get the best deal else I'll get in trouble from the missus who thinks there's nothing wrong with our 210L fridge which is so small I can't even fit a pizza in lol

Received an unique promo code $50 off for $400+ spend from TGG Concierge, check your email to see if have one.

    • Can you combine the 12% cashback with the $50 off?
I read in the T&Cs that 'Cashback may be ineligible if using codes not listed on Cashrewards'.

This is from TGG T&C regarding their store credit promo:

3.Qualifying customers are NOT required to lodge a claim. Eligible customers will receive their bonus Store Credit via Email on (Tuesday 26th July 2022) (Credit Dispatch Date) as long as the goods purchased have been delivered or collected by (5pm AEST Sunday 24th July 2022).

8.Store Credit will expire at 11:59pm Tuesday 2nd August 2022.

So if I am not mistaken, you spend a minimum of $240 to acquire $40 or $60 store credit which arrives to your email on the 26th July and you only have a week to use it before it expires?

6.Customer must be and remain opted in to receive Marketing materials from The Good Guys until Tuesday 26th July 2022.

FYI in case you turn off marketing spam emails.

  • Don't order anything that's not in stock. I ordered a gas cooktop that was on backorder a month ago and still haven't received it, despite the website saying 5-12 days.

    • Try good guys online chat. Had the same issue with a fridge. Spoke to the store a couple of time over a month saying no stock. Spoke to online chat and it was delivered the next day.

      • They have an online chat? I've been trying weeks to get a response out of them in any form. Chat may work.

        • +1

On the Good Guys website help centre there's a link "chat with us".

The same day I was told by the store I should cancel the order and order from somewhere else the chat managed to find stock and have someone call to arrange earliest delivery.

  • Do these cashback rewards work when purchasing with vouchers/gift cards?

I get 5% off through my work but it has to be done by buying gift cards/vouchers and paying that way so hoping I can stack the 2.

    Thanks

    • It says excludes "Gift Card purchases" so I assume that answers my question…

      • +1

Redeeming gift cards is ok, going on TGG site to purchase gift cards is no go

      • +1

Cashback is eligible on redemption of gift cards.

You can redeem a max of 2 gift cards on TGG website but if you select C&C and if there’s an option to pay later at pickup, you can use more gift cards

        • Another Question:

Could I do the 5% off with gift card purchase + 12% cash back + $60 in store credit since spending over $360.00

          • +1

            @MatD88: Yes :)

            1. Buy the 5% gift cards from your workplace
            2. Place the order online via Cashrewards for the 12% cashback and when at checkout, redeem your gift cards (max 2 gift cards online)
            3. The $60 store credit will be emailed after you have purchased the item
  • Amazing - thanks for the advice!

I was hoping that was the case.

Oh just check the 60AUD store credit cannot be used together with 80 Store credit we picked up on EOFY, as 60 delivered on 24th July and 80 AUD expires on 21th July.
    Smart TGG

  • What are people buying with their TGG gift cards out of interest ?

    • buy GC and then pay by GC

  • Can you combine the 12% cashback with an 'invitation-only' $50 voucher code from TGG concierge?
I read in the cash rewards T&Cs that 'Cashback may be ineligible if using codes not listed on Cashrewards.'

  • Anyone got their $40/$60 store credit sms/email yet?

    • Yup, got an email at 1:45pm. NFI what to buy with it though, i don't really need anything.

      • Ah - so did i.. but in my junk box lol. thanks! :-)

        • Woohoo! What are you gonna get? It's only valid until next Tuesday

          • @Chickenleg: I bought a vacuum, and got the store credit. Might use it to get a spare filter.
