@Yoman5555, instead of using a VPN:
1. Use a service like smartdnsproxy. Configure your router or laptop or android device as per their instructions.
2. Get a Hotstar subscription on your Indian number.
3. Watch it like you would watch it in India. PM me if you need more details.I have been using Hotstar, ZEE5, MXplayer on a Vodafone TV for over 2 years this way. Works like a charm and is much cheaper than a $200 IPTV box.š
Does one need an Indian credit card as well to subscribe?
I paid from my Indian account and I vaguely remember that it does not accept overseas cards. Give it a go though, worst case, it will reject.

I am using smartdnsproxy and it works with all the hotstar voot Sony Liv and zee. Set it up on router and all devices can use it. It's easy and cheaper.
