I have not used & tested it but it is a good price for USB 3.0. Please feel free to comment on its speed and reliability. Limited stock available for purchase online with free store pick-up or at store.

EDIT: Price went up to $47.88 which is not a bargain at all. Marked as expired.

Really bad usb, i bought 2 of them, at first a 32 gb one which never worked at the start and a 16 usb that didn't work after 1 days, i took good care of it but it broke, i do not recommend this usb it is really easy to break

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

    • Going to do a bit of research myself, Lexar aren't known for their speed (from what I've read) but the price does make it enticing.

I myself use the Patriot Rage and Patriot Express 3.0 that I got from msy and never had issues (touch wood), and before that it was Kingston and Sandisk.

Anyone else had experience with Lexar?

  • Bought one early last week, have had no problems with it so far.

I guess you get what you pay for.

ACCC would beg to differ. if an Aus store sells it, then it should be fit for purpose… :)

      • I was referring to quality. I'm not going to go out and buy a commodore and expect Benz build quality.

        :)

  • Lexar 4gb did not work straight from the pack. But so does a toshiba 8gb. Good that hn replaced or gave credit for both.

  • http://www.legitreviews.com/news/12281/ says it should have 20MB/s writes and 45MB/s reads. Reasonable speeds for a drive this price.

  • Comes up as $47 for me.

  • For some application speed isnt everything (hope im not sounding like james may!)

if it was indeed $29, i wouldnt mind buying a couple to throw in the car for emergency drives, or even to have MP3s for the head unit

    • It was $29 when I looked at OW this morning. I don't know why the price increased so quick within 2 hours of my post.

      • maybe it was a pricing error and since OW now appear to monitor OZB they changed it?
