Help for Wi-Fi Hotspot Setup for Vodafone LG P690

ok now i unlocked my lg p690 thanks to ebay. inserted my voda sim. signal is ok. turned on wifi hotspot, connected the pc. good.

but when i browsed the internet. nothing.

is there anything i need to adjust in the settings of the phone? apn perhaps?

Are you getting the 3g symbol on the phone.

You definitely have to add an apn.

When you go into apn hit the left button, there you'll have the option to add a new apn.

You must get 3G on your phone before turning it into a wifi hotspot.

voda support site has/had full instructions how to get on the net with various fones, then when the fones on the net, turn on hotspot.

Added apn and settings via voda website. Works! No need to buy pocket wifi 2. Thanks for the assist guys

I unlocked the phone via ebay. Look for mobiworkshop. Paid A$2.22 but its worth it. Voda pocket wifi 2 is $71 now. With this lg p690f i spent $51.72 and its a phone as well.
