Been eyeing off a 65 or 75 Sony X90J, does it often ever drop below 2k for the 65, 3k for the 75?

yeah and half of them didn't even ship. I doubt we will see that price ever again.
i got a 75 x90j for about $2,600 at the beginning of June, managed to negotiate with the JB Hifi online chat. Not an amazing price, but better than the $2,995 RRP, and slightly better than 10% offs etc
Oo, that's actually good. That $400 can be put towards a sound bar.

I told them i'd seen it elsewhere recently for $2,500ish - missed out and am keen to buy now, can they match? They came back saying they've never had it for the $2,500 but can do it for ~$2,600
