Car Battery

Hi

I'm looking to purchase my first car Battery for a Holden Barina and was wondering if anyone here knew where I could find the cheapest/best value for money battery.

I'm in Melbourne-West so preferably somewhere close to here.

    Kmart I guess are normally the cheaper? I had to buy my last one from a service station. They are not cheap there.

    I was happy with the RACV price if you are a member. They'll even put it in for you and take the old one.

    Hi, try Austocheap and Supercheap they often have specials, I just got one two weeks ago, for $100 with 2 year warranty. Ring around and then price match with your closes supplier

    Mega Auto which is a local Auto Store ended up being the cheapest surprisingly enough. I was able to buy a Supercharge Gold for $120.50.

    cheapest/great vaule batteries i normally buy is from my local wrecker called POWER CRANK. and ive seen them at a few wreckers in the western suburbs. batteries are inside as there new parts not old.

    i usually buy a 600 cca battery for about 90bux and there reliable.

    Make sure the battery you buy isn't out of date (old). The older the battery when it is sold the shorter its life will be. There should be a date printed on the battery somewhere
