Don't know my reds so unsure how good this deal is…

    These are all $8-$12 bottles when bought singly, around $100 a case. So it's an OK price, but not really all that exciting, especially since it's likely you'll get a few types of wine you know you don't like. May as well go to a store and get a dozen of things you actually like.

        Think about the maths. 12 bottles. $8-$12. So I avereaged to $10. That's $120. And I said about $100 a case.

    More like $7 a bottle if you are careful. The last few that were smuggled in in 2s are probably pretty bad.

    The fact is you can get good wine for $5 (sep. McWilliam's Inheritance/De Bortoli Sacred Hill) a bottle at 1st Choice/Dan's and choose as many (and what type) as you like.

    But for red wine, you'll be lucky to get something enjoyable for less than $10 (discount price.) For cheap wine, white is much safer. My picks are:

    McWilliam's Inheritance Chardonnay 2010 (1st Choice/DM) $5
    De Bortoli Sacred Hill Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2011 (1st Choice) $5

    For reds, try:
    Wine Men of Gotham shiraz 2008 (DM) $6 - You'll either absolutely love it or hate it. But give it a go……..
