HPM RGLVPLB 12V Garden Path Light

You can only buy a maximum of 5 per account

Bit fiddly to install wires, you have to push out the cam to wire it; but can use any 2 core wire as long as the sheath is thin enough

Takes non directional G4 bulbs; they come with Halogen bulbs but I'm planning to install LEDs

Cheapest alternative I can find is on eBay for $5.91 per light, which makes Amazon's deal 18.8% off.

Has any one had any luck with solar garden lights?

Almost all the ones I've bought (except for one) have only lasted maybe a few months before it stops working. The ones that have lasted over a year are the ikea outdoor lights but they have started to look like it'll breakdown soon.

i'm moving away from solar garden lights to these; i bought a pack of 20 solar lights from bunnings about a year ago and only ~4 are still working

      • Yeah that is my experience as well. How are you getting power to these then?

I didn't want to mess with either putting a gpo in the garden or running a cable from an outdoor gpo

        • i use a transformer plugged into an outdoor GPO for these, the wiring just carries 12V DC from the transformer

  • Thanks Op! any reco on how far apart should these lights be?
