  • Not showing on my Platinum or my partners Qantas…

  • +1

    Seems to be targetted

  • +1

    Not there on mine!

  • +6

Wow I got none of them for once usually I get the absolutely useless ones like thrifty

  • +1

    Not on mine

  • +7

    Budget spend $250, get $40

  • +3

None with my card. Time to cancel it!

    • Which is a decent AMEX card to have, considering the benefits ?

      1st priority: without fees
      2nd priority: with low fees

      • 3rd priority: targeted

        • ha.

but seriously, i'm looking for a decent AMEX card,
and wondering if anyone had any suggestions

          • +1

@whyisave: I have their gold card which is fee free. It was originally an industry one, but they removed that as an option a while back. I can't see them on their website as an offer anymore, so unsure if they offer them.

https://www.americanexpress.com/au/credit-cards/all-cards/ is a link to all of their credit card offerings, and they mention the various benefits of each, including costs

@RMBC: Thank you, for your reply.

From that list, these AMEX ones have $0 annual fee :
              • Qantas Discovery
              • Velocity Escape
              • "Low Rate Card"
              • Essential

              • @whyisave: Essential has a double-banger cashback offer running at the moment for new members. You'd be nuts to look at the Qantas card for points instead.

American Express Essential Credit Card - no annual fee

I have it and get most of these regular offers.

        • +1

          Yep got the same card

      • +1

Qantas discovery. No annual fee, so it’s a free way to build up your qantas points. Don’t forget to use referral for the card you choose from ozb referral links

        • +1

I just don't like Qantas points, because I don't see value in their service offerings.

( I like participating in Virgin's Velocity programs, though )

          • +1

@whyisave: Then as you’ve already discovered, get the Velocity Escape

  • +7

    Awesome got none 😭

  • +1

    None here either.

  • None for me. The ms one isn't new either afaik, it was mentioned in previous xbox threads

    • The MS one used to be $100 back I’m pretty sure. Now that it’s $150 I don’t have it

      • There were two offers

  • Not in my Explorer card.

  • Not here either. AMEX Explorer

  • None for me

  • Not on platinum edge

  • Nothing as usual :(

    • Nothing this time, unusual :-(

  • +1

    Lucky! Don’t have any!

  • Nada on Qantas Ultimate

  • +1

    New cardholder offer?

  • Nada on on DJ.

  • None :(

  • Nothing on all my cards

    • Can you recommend a decent Rolodex?

  • Nothing either :(. Really over these targeted Amex offers.

  • None on my two cards

  • Generally you can chat with AMEX and ask then to manually add. No harm in trying

  • +3

Not a single person validating these offers, are they real or not live yet?

    • +1

Apart from the odd one, my offers always come on Tuesday or Saturday. Maybe tomorrow?

    • I have the MS one on my essentials card

  • Found Budget on the Ultimate explorer, none of the others

  • None

  • None of these on my 3 cards

  • None on my Amex Discovery

  • Looks like no one is getting these offers lol

Are you the only one OP?

    • These are on Amex business

  • None on my qantas ultimate - I did get a mcdonalds offer for $5 back on $25 spend though which hasn't been mentioned anywhere so far
