Never thought CA would be the cheapest delivered, Says the code expires 30/6 but still working and includes delivery. 1% surcharge on card and PayPal payments.
Great value compared to the 6TB

Thanks, just what I was looking for
You still carrying on 🙄😂
Who would of thought spending close to $1k would make it cheaper…
Not sure why simple facts are seen as a personal insult?
Can find these for relatively the same price on eBay. Not a bad deal from CA though
CMR and NAS grade.
Anyone know what delivery time is like?
When I ordered some 4TB's from them last year they arrived in 3 days. Not sure if they're still express posting them.
Thanks Clear :)
Ordered it on the 3rd got it Tuesday morning and the packaging was very good
8tb ironwolf ST8000VN004 @ $269.10 + surcharge isn't to bad either.
Is this the one to get for a NAS or Iron Wolf Pro?
Would depend on your intended use. I'm still new to NAS drives. If its for a home NAS and its 8 or under drive, Ironwolf will be great. 8-24 Drives would be Ironwolf Pro.
I found this Youtube video informative : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqQ8MVDcYA0&ab_channel=NASCo…
I only have 2 bay NAS, I might splurge on a 4 Bay one one day but not yet. :)
Just out of curiosity, would these drives be alright just for use in a desktop PC as well as just a storage drive?
Yes - but if you're going to use it for storing games and applications and working data etc then you'd be much better off with a cheap 4TB SSD instead. Mechanical hard drives like this one are much better suited to bulk storage - performance is basically terrible for "interactive" use.
Yeah nah, I wouldn't be installing games or trying to run them off the drive, it'll just be for straight storage.
Neat. Grabbed 3 for another Z1 array. Ty.
