    Let’s say a Farrari’s RRP is 400k, when it sells at 300k, I call it a deal. Now you are saying to me, my Corolla can drive as fast as Farrari on Monash freeway and costs a fraction, why is Farrari a deal. Well, I’m comparing prices, and you are comparing products.

        I never understood that simile.

        I think its a reference to legal top speed; but the 'Ferrari' will still knock the pants off a corolla due to acceleration. Top speed limited; one is still significantly ahead assuming they started together.

        I dont disagree with the point being made at all;
        the simile just bothers me.
