I prefer Limbo, has less fustrating mechanics and better story.
Limbo
I played limbo first and then inside. I think inside is superior… the story is clearer, more interesting, there are more colours (limbo is just black and white) which I like.
Limbo is the best, Inside is worth playing.

If you enjoy these two games, I highly recommend Shady Part of Me. It's theme isn't as dark and it is very well written. I recommend all three of them.
Excellent games, both of these. For a few hours of entertainment each, $3 is a steal.
