Just looking for a good brand TV under 2k for bedroom. Was going to get an OLED but couldn’t justify the money for the use. Need one that’s good for games and movies

It depends what you use it for. If it's just something to watch before you go to sleep, maybe not that important, but if they're watching movies and playing games a lot I can see why bigger is better. If it's wall mounted, it doesn't take up much space, and 3m is enough viewing distance to justify 75". Some even suggest less than that.

I was also looking at this one. It's UHD I believe though. The sale ends on Thursday I guess.

I would love to know your view on q70b. I am about to buy that, but need a first hand review since there are hardly any online reviews.
So I compared it to my friends Sony A80J which is an OLED model.
Blacks -Q70B blacks are not as black, but you wouldn't notice unless the the room is completely dark.
Brightness - Samsung one is significantly brighter than the Sony OLED.
Sound - Sony has much better built in speakers. Samsung speakers are quite tinny. But I have a better sound bar that makes it way better than even the Sony one.
OS - Sony runs Android TV where the Samsung tv is Tizen. Which kinda has all the major apps you need. Support Google assistant too. But I couldn't find Kodi on their appsstore.
This is the main thing in find annoying. But I use a Chromecast with Google tv to get around it.So I'm very happy with my purchase. Considering for 75" I paid sub $2k

What about a short throw projector, would be easy to black out the light in a bedroom.
I don’t know, I would feel a bit inadequate watching pron on a 75” TV. The schlongs must look huge at that screen size. Then again, so would the boobies…
I just got a call from a Samsung Loyalty program sales rep, they are doing EOFY deals and they offered me a discount code for taking further 30% off any Samsung TVs on their store.
I ended up ordering a 75 inch QN85B for $2449 (RRP $3499). i think it worth a try sending them an email and ask for a code, this can definitely help if anyone is interested in getting a Samsung TV.
