    Does not have AU plug!

    • Could bend the US plug with some pliers.

I'm sure everyone has a spare USB charger floating around. Back when phones normally came with them.

  • how secure is this?
    could be easily hacked/accessed?

    • Remember that the S in IoT stands for Security.

Neither of those questions have answers without thorough review of the source code and infrastructure end-to-end taking hundred of hours.

Until a hack is found in the wild, sold, or a researcher or manufacturer discloses there are no "hacks" available for it and assumed secure* (which is a terrible standpoint)

Better assume it is not secure and not expose it to the internet. There are heaps of free VPN solutions that enable you to connect home from your phone or laptop with a click to view the camera as required. Hell, lots of routers have that built in.

  • Anyone know if you can get a RTSP stream from this to use with FFmpeg?

  • have any experience with these as security cams?

  • Laxihub camera for keeping an eye on your stash of sugar free Haribo gummy bears

  • is it rechargeable or needs to be plugged? hard to do if on the roof.
