Review of Self Managed Property Listing Sites (Finding Tenants)

Hi all,

Question for the ones who manager their rental property themselves.

I've used rentbetter recently and fairly happy with their service. For $199 lists on real estate and domain. Easy to create listing. Nice interface to receive tenant applications, then even sign lease agreement (need to pay extra for digital signature).

Just wondering on others experience on other platform. I know most of the other platforms charge $99. Would you recommend different platform?

Did you end up pursuing a career in Property Management (from your question a couple of months ago)?

    • Thanks for noticing. It is still in the works.
Coincidently my tenant is a property manager and briefly mentioned that you don't need full real estate licence to do property management. To be honest, main reason is to be able to post on Real Estate and Domain sites.

I have catchup in coming weeks to get the deals and what is involved if you only want to focus on property management and don't want to be a full blown real estate agent.

  • If you want cheap there is www.realrenta.com.au - Standard Ad - $49.
You will need to do your own tenant applications though.

    • Thanks a lot. That's great to know. Have you used it?
