It's a mistake and we are still working on our NSFW policy which will be implemented next week. Basically,
- Part of MinxBar website contains nudity. Posts linked to sites containing nudity would not be allowed on OzBargain.
- However the deal itself is provided by Scoopon, and Scoopon itself is fine. Although it contains link to MinxBar but it's on a different site.
- Some deals and stores will be marked as NSFW. For example lingerie/night dress deals. Those sites might not contain nudity. More on those next week.
I have re-published the MinxBar deal from Scoopon. However please keep the discussions sensible there.
So, will they be banned altogether?
Does OzB have a porn bot that goes out and checks links for porn, or is the searching for porn done manually? Just curious how it all works… ;->

No we don't have a porn bot nor in the process of developing one :) Most of the time from the thumbnail image you know someone might be embarrassed by opening the link at work. Otherwise moderators pretty much rely on submitted Reports.
If you ever do implement a porn bot, would it be possible to subscribe to the results?

there are plenty of "child safe" firewalls available. Open DNS is probably the best example.
Just an update, we now have the ability to mark deals as NSFW. Users can choose to show or hide such deals. For more details, see announcement.
