Hi All,
I went to buy a TV in January, the one I wanted wasnt in stock so bought the next model down (QN85). A few hours later, the one I wanted was in stock, and I contacted Samsung to cancel the QN85 as it wasn't allowing me to do this online. Note this was literally 4 hours later. They advised me to go ahead and purchase the QN90 and they would cancel the QN85 order and refund my money.
We are now in June and I have been getting the run around by Samsung. I am essentially unable to get anything discussed by their contact centre in writing. This makes it difficult to provide evidence for a transaction dispute.
Last month they stated they had provided the refund, however there has been no refund on my credit card, and my credit card provider has confirmed there is nothing pending from Samsung. Once again, attempts made to discuss this with Samsung directly have turned into an endless circle of me chasing call centre agents without being able to speak to anyone who can actually help.
My emails (including the one to the CEO office) have been unanswered for the duration of this issue. I'm honestly exhausted, and out of pocket $1,700 for a TV I never received.
Has anyone had a similar issue with Samsung and if so, do you have tips to overcome it? At this point, it really feels like they're intentionally incompetent.
