LIFX Mini White A19 B22 Smart Bulb $12 + Delivery @ JB Hi-Fi

120

JB Hi-Fi have the LIFX Mini White A19 B22 Smart Bulb on clearance for $12 + Delivery.

Other stores have them for around the $30/$35 price point.

I'm pretty confident they are clearance because of the older packaging.

Edison screw version also available at Lifx for $14.99 + delivery - https://www.lifx.com.au/collections/clearance

A good time to upgrade some of the old globes!

The day dusk was much better at $15. That said, LIFX HomeKit integration is very nice and easy.

  • do these need an app or can i use google home?

    • You need the app to set up but can use Google Home to turn them on and off

I hate how they call these single temperature 2700k “white” bulb. they are almost orange

  • I didn't post this as a deal because there wasnt the quantity and it wasn't online, but I recently got a bunch of Wiz branded smart bulbs at bunnings. They are pretty good, apparently Philips Led bulbs with WiFi, some in baton and some in screw, and some in the smaller screw. Depending on the bulb they were between 3 and 6 bucks each. Colour changing and dimmable, and the app is great, and supports IFTTT (which I haven't bothered to set up yet, I just use the app)

I also picked up a couple of the smaller baton Arlec ones, they are smart but not dimmable and use a different app, for between 60c and 3 bucks. Worth having a look in case they are still being cleared out anywhere, I actually don't have any lamps that use those, but for that price I figured I can store them or maybe get adapters to use them in other lamps. Come to think of it I think they were dimmable but just not as good, they weren't fixed to cool white (not temp adjustment) and the dimmer didn't go down as far as the Wiz ones, and the app wasn't as nice, without features like gradual dimming and brightening when turning on and off
