  • Bit of an average upgrade, most specs are the same apart from Camera and Charging.

  • Does this come with headphones jack?

    • No headphone jack. Although it does include USB C to 3.5mm Adapter.

  • +1

Don't think this will be as popular as the F3 given the price. Perhaps F1 folks be tempted to jump on to this.

  • How about for the 256/8GB version?

Just bought one from Banggood for the F3 with 256/8GB at around $404 AUD. Contemplating on cancelling that and getting this upgraded version. Though it's a secondary phone so I'm having second thoughts as the chipset is the same. Main phone is flagship so it's just really secondary phone (to be rooted).

    • US$389.40 for 8GB + 256GB

    • How though? I haven't seen it under 500, only see the 6/128 for 400.

  • Worth upgrading from F3 256gb?

    • +4

      nope

  • Thanks OP
Looks like a camera megapixel upgrade and charging speed upgrade from the F3 only

    • ois makes it so your photos are corrected by hardware, rather than just through post processing. for someone with jitters, like me, it makes a massive difference in image quality

  • Shame they can't add USB-C 3.1 support for faster transfers. Still on USB-C 2.0 it seems

  • As someone on a Pixel Experience F1 but hasn't kept up on progress since then, can you do the same on these? Is that what people do?

  • Just an update for those who purchased:

Located in Melbourne Aus, purchased on the night of release (27th) and it was delivered on Wed 13th (last Wednesday).
Very impressed with the processing and shipping speed, particularly given the estimated date of August 17th or something horrid. They clearly decided to fly it over rather than swim it over which was appreciated :-)

Went via Singapore, the tracking updates were regular and informative, and the product arrived correctly and very well packaged.
Came with an AU adapter charger that the 67w charger plugs in to, but the quickcharge has a bit of weight in it so feels better plugged in vertically (so it's on top of the attachment ) as opposed horizontally. Might see if there's an AU version of the 67w charger available somewhere for a reasonable price eventually to plug it directly into the powerpoint.

additional: 8GB/256GB silver model. upgraded finally from the F1, which has served me well (and still was to be honest) over the past few years.
