Does anyone know how the Soundbar goes on it's own? Does it work?

At home I want to fix the sub / L / R speakers to my entertainment unit, and when I go visit my folks just pick up the soundbar and take it with my portable projector.

Side note, this seems to be $600 off retail, $100 better than JB's current deal and free delivery in Brisbane… I'm very close to closing the deal haha
