For those looking to complete their Bose soundbar experience, the Bass Module 700 is the best wireless subwoofer which Bose currently sells for pairing with Soundbars.

Whilst not the absolute cheapest if you look over the past 5 years (where it was <$800 once), this seems to be the best deal I could find in the last month which has stock of the white Bass Module 700. There are a few other stores which have the same Bose subwoofer on sale for around the $1000 mark (eg Good Guys, Harvey Norman, Myer etc), it's quite rare to find the white one in stock without having to pay delivery charges (or doing a C&C outside metropolitan areas). The other option is to price match at JB Hifi but again, they only seemed to have stock of the black one in metropolitan Sydney.

I was about to buy it from HN given they also had stock near me, but Amazon has free delivery (and approx the same discount on gift cards).

If you're happy to go with the black Bass Module 700, you probably would get a better deal buying from TGG or JB Hifi and using cheaper discounted gift cards.

  • Hi
Does any own the surround speakers for 700 and where did you get them?
    Thanks

    • Had to buy them from overseas. I don't think they've ever been sold in Australia

    • You can buy Surround speakers for 700 soundbar & 700 sub from Jbhifi. Some other sellers are Myer, The good guys, Harvey Norman.

    • Reviews for the Bose surround speakers do seem a bit mixed (relative to the generally universal praise for the soundbar and bass modules). Assuming you have the 700 though it should still be useful - but I think on say the 900, I read that using surround speakers deactivates a couple of the surround channels in the soundbar.

  • JB marked one of these down to $805 for me when I bought it with a Soundbar last month.

    • White or black? I was tempted to try to get a deal until I realised no stock of white anywhere nearby :(

      • Black.

That is an expensive trash bin
