This previously popular portable air pump from Xiaomi is back in-stock and on sale again with the code.

The Xiaomi Portable Air Pump 1S is small and powerful air pump for taking with you on the go or having as an emergency spare in vehicle. It has a flow rate of 15L/pm, goes up to 150PSI, can be set to PSI or BAR, has USB-C charging and an inbuilt light.

I personally use one of these to check tyre pressure on my electric scooter every week and it fills them up to 50PSI no problem. I've tested this with larger 14" and 16" EUC wheels and it takes a few seconds to fill them up. These are good for bikes, mobility scooters and even topping a car tyre in an emergency.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate, GST inclusive and stacks with cashback.

Have one myself, the best portable air inflator ever, highly recommended, price is ok, normally it's around $55 mark

    • whats your use case?

      • I use it to top up my motorbike and car tyres at home, if the pressure is way too low, I'd go to servo to pump them up. But I did pump a flat passenger car tyre up last time, took a while but got there in the end. The beauty of this is you don't need to run a 12v or 240 v power source cord, so bloody convenient.

Worth mentioning because it's brought up in every deal. If you want to top up all your car tyres quickly then this isn't it. Given the small size it's better for topping up a tyre or 2.

You answered my question…sort of. So if I needed to air down my 4wd tyres for sand driving, and then pump them up again after…say from about 20psi to 40, this would probably not do all 4?
Any other recommendations for something more powerful?

          • @n00t: Beast is proven to be reliable, goes under many brands (Thumper in 4wdsupacentre) and just fkn works. I checked many forums before getting mine. 4 tyres, 20 to 40 psi job is under 6 minutes.

          • @n00t: Ohh, compare weight! 3kg vs 9kg :)

        • Cheers. Bloody expensive once you add the charger and battery though. Guess I'll just stick with my normal portable compressor.

        • Very nice. Except for the 12V part - why are they going backwards to the 12V 1980s era ? I guess they're all trying to discourage 18V so you buy again. Either 12 or 36/40V.

This wont cut it I suppose. What you need to look for is the flow/ amount of air it can push (litres per min). Pressure (psi) in car and SUV tyres is not that high and almost all of these portable can reach that pressure, albeit taking a very long time since their LPM is not good.

    • I tried it on my car and it's fine, just slow. perfect for occasional topups, but not from 0 to full. love the portability and the speed is a worthy tradeoff for me so as I don't have to search for a wall or cigarette plug.
it's also fantastic for my escooter (which I know clear is an aficionado of)

Really good. Took about an hour to pump up a completely flat tyre that was still on the car.

  • Can be used to fill balloons ?

Had one of these but just not powerful enough for me so bought Milwaukee m12 inflator n some ebay knock off batteries this thing is awesome but more expensive

    • those ebay batteries are probably a fire hazard, better to rig it run off the cigarette lighter/car battery

  • Does it come with a charging cable? What’s socket is it?

    • Uses USB-C and comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable.

      • Mine didn’t come with anything to charge with just the pump and the nozzle add on. Are you sure it comes with a charging cable? Can’t find anything in the box.

        • Depends on the seller I guess.

          • @Clear: Yeah got it from AliExpress from the last deal. But it’s all sealed in a box how can they remove the charging cables? Mine came with a black carry bag, pump and a nozzle attachment and that’s it.

            • @Ozjoey: Could be a regional difference between CN and Global.

              • @Clear: That’s what I thought. They gave the one for the locals I think where they have USB-C cables with every other gadget.

Good product and I recommend. I pumped up a basketball and soccer ball this evening and it worked. Balls are firm 👍🏻
