I love my doctor, but he is one of those work/life balance people and only works three days a week and takes all school holidays off. Plus he is very popular, so it is hard to get in to see him.
I read online about a search engine that allows users to quickly determine where there is a GP availability and (I think) book in.
If you don't have a doctor or if you can't get in to see them, then you might try this web engine. The article made it sound like it was WA only, but the website has a map of OZ for you to select your state. I know there is quite a bit of availability in WA, but haven't checked the other states.
Looks interesting!
It would be great if you could
- add in a feature to search and sort if a GP has bulkbilling
- show what the consultation fees are for the GPs
I know these requests obviously require more work though…
