Highly recommended as a fridge if you can afford it & like fresh veggies (Veggie draw is so roomy). Smaller freezer space compared to other 4 door units or side by sides. Doesn't need plumbing in. 4 shelves mean less space between them. It's a fridge that rewards organisation & the use of many rectangular containers

Shame their ebay store won't ship them to Melbourne.

    • I can't see why this one is more expensive than the others.

      • Made in Japan?

Take a look at one in store. The walls are incredibly thin. More room on the inside, less space used in your kitchen. Vacuum insulated panels. Power draw is around 50 watts or so, and not all the time.

      Cool story

Not everyone wants a fridge that is used in a uni dorm room

But isn’t 3k abit excessive? Like couldn’t you just buy multiple fridges at the point?

        • 100%, I hv sold these fridges in the past. MR700 has a big markup. These fridges come to Harveys & JB's with a big markup. 40% of this money goes to companies. I will buy this fridge for 2.to 2.5k as an average. Happy Negotiations

        • I used to think the same and had the same mindset about expensive TVs which do the same job as cheap TVs. But as I get older I want good quality stuff and happy to pay extra. I paid $3,670 for this fridge in white in the last sale. It's not an excessive amount if you can afford it and prefer quality items. This is a highly functional item used 24/7, looks beautiful and will lift the 'value' of your home if you have a nice kitchen

    • There is plenty of food in garbage bins of Coles docks too.

  • I have probably the older model of this in a platinum color. I got from HN for ~$2500, the sales guy either made a mistake or was super happy, it was at cost price or something.

    • we probably more interested in…….how's the unit & how's the sales guy ended? :D

      • love the ice maker, the fruit/veg and freezer drawers are big enough to accommodate a lot of food.
you can change the coldness of anything so customization is great if that is what your looking for

    • You still paid some commission to him which is his great work

These fridges have a soft freezing function. You can soft freeze large chunks of meat and then off as much as you need for the meal you are about to cook. Amazing functionality. Massive time saver.

  • Arrrrgent Energy Fridge

  • With all the ozb love for these I sure wish I put one in my new kitchen just finished :(

FYI for anyone after a fridge. Try www.homeclearance.com.au

Its basically appliances online clearance store. Seems they put all their scratch and dent/ clearance lines through a different front page. We got:
https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/product/westinghouse-600… for about $800 off the AO price cause the door had a couple of marks (otherwise brand new). The same AO guys came out to deliver it and take the old one away.

  • Could someone please kindly share a receipt or screenshot if they ordered this? Thanks!
