Before you know it they'd be counting the box and insert and call it a 6 pce kit.
It's bad enough that manufacturers add "junk" tools to boost up the piece count.
This deal sucks
Yea it blows
If items sell individually/separately, it is 4 items.
Most cordless tools are sold as skin only (without battery + charger).
If purchased individually each items, the total package is about $400 - $450.
I reckon the price $278 (with Free Shipping) should be a good deal.
Just check the items price:
- Blower Skin $129 Bunnings
- Vacuum Skin $129 Bunnings
- 18V 5.0Ah Battery $101 - $179
- 18V Charger $45
Got the makita deal from these guys. Good service, fast shipping!
More Maki deals please, Bosch owners don't appreciate it
The vacuum is truly useless. Don't buy it
No suction? Can you elaborate please because I'm thinking of getting this.
So, for my purpose it kinda works, which is to clean saw dust and woodchips from the worktop. But anything larger than that, even dust with hair and it'll soon clog and lose all suction.
Don't even bother using it for leaves or anything heavier as it doesn't have the power to suck it up. It might at first, but as the cannister fills, it loses suction. I remember Dyson claiming they never lose suction, and thought it was marketing BS, but it isn't.
It's fine as a handheld to quickly clean a worktop, but be prepared to empty it frequently, even when it isn't full.
I'd recommend something else.
Thanks for that. I was thinking of using it for inside the car only. Have you tried it on the carpet?
@savemesomemoney: No I haven't, can't imagine it would be any good.
@giventofly: Thanks, mate. Will hold out maybe they can sell it with just the blower then as that's what I'm really after.

$249 blower and two batteries
@savemesomemoney: Get a cheaper model cordless vacuum like the Dreame for the car. You want the power and attachments.
I found the old model worked much better. They did something where they doubled the airflow but halved the air speed.
There's a blower only deal with charger and two 5Ah batteries for $249.
It's a deal from Bosch, so it'll be at Sydney tools, total tools, etc.
Thanks! I'll compare their prices.
Calling it a 4pce kit is a bit of a stretch, don't you think?
