  • Purchases over $300 you have to deduct the depreciation every year, can't deduct the full amount

an immediate deduction is allowable for certain assets. The assets must:

    • be used mainly to produce non-business assessable income
    • cost $300 or less.

The deduction isn't available for any assets used mainly in carrying on a business.

For depreciating assets that cost more than $300, you can claim a deduction for the decline in value.

I had the Lenovo G34w, when mine died after 3 months, I bought the Xiaomi 34 and Dell 3422DWG. Basically they use the same VA panel, so there is not much difference between the pictures. However G34w has less input but looks bulky, Xiaomi and Dell looks better to me, Dell also has USB hub which may be usefully for someone.
