Best Deal for 15” Laptop during EOY Sale (Budget $1500)

Hi guys,

My laptop just died and need a new one ASAP and was hoping for helping finding the best deal for my needs during EOFY sale, as I’m kinda computer illiterate. I don’t game, just intense web browsing, streaming videos and office. I’m upgrading from a 15” Lenovo ThinkPad and need the following:

-15” with number pad
-i5 or i7 with 16gb plus ram
-I’ve got a 1tb ssd so would love to transfer that, but if not at least 512gb ssd
-Very good battery life, ideally 8-10 plus hours
-At least FHD screen
-Love the ThinkPad keyboard so good keyboard would be nice

Looking to spend $1000-$1500 but would consider stretching a little more for the perfect laptop.

And if anyone knows how to get lifetime MS office for free, please share.

  Rule 1: If you don't game, don't get Gaming Laptops as they are heavier and most likely have shorter driver support.
  Rule 2: If you need to take it around (i.e. mostly use at a fixed location), don't get "slim and light" laptops as they are usually slower (as they thermal throttle)

  Lenovo ThinkPad has long term support for drivers. For some E Series, you can even add an extra storage drive for expansion. Also, they all can charge by USB-C (+support Alt Mode for external video using USB-C) so it is very convenient if you have Android Phone to share the same charger.
