has anyone had any experience with 3rd party batteries for mobile phones?
I have a HTC HD7 and looking around ebay for some batteries.
i hear that anker batteries are some of the best 3rd party ones.

  • I have a 3rd party as a back up especially when I go to unknown far places where I use 3G for maps(which drains the battery alot).
Nothings, been wrong with it so far, just a generic, cheap battery i got from ebay.

They lie about their capacities — generally you get what you pay for.

There are two battery brands that I would recommend:

    Anker
    MugenPower

MugenPower is pretty expensive, but they're the real deal when it comes to capacities. I used Anker for my Samsung G2 and MugenPower for the Acer Liquid Metal, and they are both reliable brands.
