Was hoping to get 6GB+ and a decent processor that will last a few years. Camera can't be shithouse, but doesn't need to be top notch.
I am ok with chinese phones, have had Poco/Xiaomi in the past without issue.

I'm proposing a fairly risk free workaround (unless you smash the screen) to waiting on an import (like a Poco) that would more easily fit the requirements.
Something useable that will be easy to acquire and also easy to move on in a few weeks time.
Pre-owned Samsung Galaxy S10E will set you back around $300. The screen, camera and battery life are top notch.
