For guitars (I'm not sure about drum), I prefer to go to Guitar Factory, I find that Allans/Billy's sell at rrp, which is a bit of a rip and even with the 20% off the Guitar Factory still advertises a cheaper price. Often you can even push for a bit more a discount and they actually know their stuff and let you try it, unlike a lot of the time I find at Billy's that there's some young guy just jamming for 10 mins… Only when I ask can I try it, he hands it over.. hahahaha
Not saying this is for all Allan's and Billy's but, defs look around before you buy, esp from Allans/Billy's chances are you'll find a better deal! :)

Generally I find Ebay will best the prices at Billy Hyde just about any day. Especially if you ship from America (Vic Firths for $12 a pop inc. shipping).
