Hi,
I'm looking to purchase an M1 MacBook Air (base model), preferably before the 24th of June (for a birthday present). I'm looking for the cheapest way to buy one, and my current plan is to purchase a bunch of prepaid Coles Mastercards (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/705416), then purchase JB Ultimate gift cards using those (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/706084), then price match Apple Education at JB and use the Ultimate cards to pay (around 16% off final price).
However, I noticed two other deals that might be better:
- 20x Everyday Rewards on Apple gift cards (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/704201): will I be able to use the Coles Mastercards to purchase these Apple gift cards from Big W to order from the Apple AOC store? ($50 cheaper than normal education store)
- Wireless1 eBay deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/706134) - will I be able to use the Coles Mastercards on eBay (with split payments)?
Thanks! Do let me know if there are any other ways to save a couple dollars on my purchase :)
I think the maths puts every option at around the same value but with Apple AOC cheaper. I’d go with that especially if you do use Woolworths Rewards. If you’re not an Apple user you might end up having credit left over though.
