  we've got some usher s520 speakers hooked up to a denon amp which we use for TV / music / etc. we're wanting to downsize a little, would these be sufficient enough to be used for tv speakers? would they sound better for stereo content when compared to soundbars at a similar pricepoint?

    They sound far better for stereo content, and voices are clear, but low end bass is severely lacking, big action movies don’t sound great on them imo. A5+ sounds better, but so not a fan of the sound signature.

    I would personally prefer s2000pro mk3. I ended up going a3-a5+,s2000pro, klipsch the fives, s3000pro

    I have the A5+, S8 Sub and a D1 DAC setup through optical which I use for the tv and everything else. headphones, laptop, music, wireless streaming, turntable.

    With previous soundbar/ sub setups I've always had to adjust settings and volume and I could never get it right for action, voices and quiet scenes.

    Now, with this current setup voices are crystal clear and I don't have to turn up quiet scenes or turn down action scenes. It's very level and adjustable.

    For the price point, size, convenience and practicality it's hard to beat for me.
