China processed? They refused (went silent) to disclose origin and location of processing when I reached out.

    • Doesn't really matter because they're ranked no.1 in terms of least contaminants and metals in any protein powder. However, I wouldn't rely on one source.

My bags of milk tea ordered in march had expiry for may..

    • .. 2 months?

      You serious?

      • +1

        Most likely short dated
Also comments from previous deal that some went off

      • +1

        Yep lol… They refunded me.

I'm still going through it… I found out when I eat it with oats my stomach is fine.. But it messes with my stomach when I have it with water.

It smells a bit so I probably shouldn't use it but I can't bear to throw away 10kg of whey. I'll see how long I last lol.

        • What doesn't kill you… :)

  • How's the taste of the vanilla whey? Thanks

    • Pretty ordinary, but better than aminoz

      • Oh ok. I am using Bare Blends Vanilla WPI.great tast but very expensive..
        .

        • Aminoz have 110% guarantee but have settled for their choc flavour wpi as the vanilla was atrocious. May have been a bad batch.

  • How does the milk tea flavour taste?

    • same question lol

    • Like you'd expect (tastes like an Early grey). But I found Myprotein to mix very poorly. Won't buy it again.

    • +1

like tea with milk, not so much like an asian inspired milk tea. your average british tea and milk

    • +1

Tastes nothing like milk tea from bubble tea shops so it's a bit misleading (given that it's a UK brand that's one exception). The taste is horrible I have to force myself to finish it, not pleasant at all. They do free samples if you're still intrigued. I'd rate it 1.5/10.

    • 3/10 for me.

I’ve learnt to stick with traditional chocolate or vanilla haha

Thanks a lot. Just ordered 10kg.

Has anyone else sat on the throne after using their impact whey? The ingredients don't show anything suspicious but I still get bad stomach every time.

    • Maybe you are much more lactose intolerant than most people

      • +1

I have no issue with full cream milk and other brand proteins like ON etc

        • Possibly something has gone off like flavouring or other additives

    • Nope, if anything I tolerate it better than done other brands, and that's for someone who is a bit dairy intolerant

  • I still have some WPC that expired a few years ago, wonder if I should risk it?

    • was it unopened?

      • correct

        • Supplements don't expire, they lose their potency over time. I would still suggest buying fresh, it's dirt cheap anyway. You can get my bag if you want, 5Kg, still got some expiry :D

          • @sqheaven: Pure processed protein as in WPI or wpc doesn't go off but other supplements (added carbs or supplement fats) can as well as flavourings and other additives

        • Personally myself I would use it to about 3 years

I like to keep a years worth on hand incase there is disruption to supply chain or nuclear war or economic disaster

  • This for 29.99 seems like a good deal, can anyone recommend it, and would it be good for bulking? https://au.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/all-in-one-perform…

    • +2

As a pre workout shake sure. When bulking I prefer to get my carbs from whole foods but each to their own.

  • Tastes 3/10. Would not buy again.

  • Order received for 5kg pack and expiry date is 08/2022. No way I can finish it by then. Will seek refund.

    • I got an email saying they are refunding me the full amount, I left feedback saying less than 2 months expiry, it actually tastes yum for me

      • In the same situation with the short expiry date. Did you have to return the product as well and then fork out money for delivery fee?

        • They emailed me asking for feedback and I left feedback and got an email saying full refund should be processed in my account the next 2-5 days

          • @jonathan111: What kind of feedback did you give? I sent in a complaint and they replied to me with:

"I just wanted to let you know that this has been raised with Quality Assurance Team for investigation.
As soon as we receive further information regarding your matter, we will contact you to provide an update.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your co-operation. The Quality Team will provide feedback regarding a refund/replacement."

            • @lennyduo: I'm on the same boat, if I'm not mistaken, you will be sent a trustpilot link and leave a feedback/review.

              • @designate: Thanks for the heads up, I'll give it a go and see what happens

        • Nah I kept the whey and got refund.

          • @Circly: Got full refund, and they asked me to keep the whey as good will gesture.

        • I got my refund last night and kept the 10kg woo hooo

          • @jonathan111: If it's like mine it will smell a bit. Taste is average.

With water my stomach feels a bit weird. But with oats no issues.

I don't have any problems with their other flavours that aren't near expiry. So I put it down to it being expired (mine expired last month).

Offer still works - just purchased 10kg @ $66 per 5kg stacked with CashRewards 7%

    • Is it the same expiry?

      • It arrived today, expiry is 09/2022. Will definitely send an email about it. Not possible finishing 200 servings in less than 65-days!
