A great way to check out classical music. You'll want to be there at 7pm to pick up tickets, not sure if the bar is open, as there doesn't appear to be an interval.

Take a peek behind the scenes at an open rehearsal of MSO’s Principal Guest Conductor Xian Zhang. Join us in some of the best seats in the house as Zhang and the musicians of the MSO rehearse their program.

You'll be able to eavesdrop on the dialogue between conductor and orchestra and see a fascinating part of putting on a symphonic performance.

Repertoire and artists in this open rehearsal will be drawn from the program of Beethoven's Ninth. Please note that due to this being a working rehearsal we cannot guarantee that specific artists or repertoire will be featured.

This event will run for approximately 90 minutes, however, the exact duration of this rehearsal is subject to the conductor’s discretion on the day.

    Yeah, they've introduced membership fees for clubs/groups that used to be free.
