Hi everyone, I need advice from you guys
I have purchased a refrigerator on Samsung online website on January 30. The price I paid for the product is $1286.65. As I write this it has been more than 130 days. I have called Samsung Multiple times till date, I spent close to 30 hours on calls to connect to them and I have record of all calls. Spent around 20 emails till date. Till now there is no information about my product.
Last week they emailed me and said that My Fridge has been "Lost In Transit". They gave me 2 options
Option1: They give me $300 gift card and refund my money to my card and it will take 1 week to get money back into my card.
Option 2: They will deliver my product which is highly unlikely, this is what they have emailed me .
I replied saying I need my product to be delivered.
Today the same person called me and gave the same options again, but I choose the same option again. He said OK and hung up the call. An hour later I received the email saying, they have initiated the refund on to my card after 132 days.
I spoke to Consumer Affairs Victoria a month ago and they advised me to send a complaint letter to Samsung and wait for their response, which i never got a reply and I called CAV again they asked me to go to VCAT.
Please advice me with possible options .
FYI: Even with gift card of $300 they offered me, I cant buy the same fridge for the price I bought.
Samsung's delivery and warehouse contractors have been having major issues since Feb this year. I have access to Samsung's Employee portal and few people who purchased TVs through me have had to wait a month or more to get their TVs after I escalated the issues 4 times.
Sorry about your experience. If you PM me the model number of the Refrigerator, I can place the order for you after the 30th of June (all portal promotions are paused till then) for cheaper if it's available.
