You might need to find a solution for "the optimal stopping problem" for headphones. e.g. https://plus.maths.org/content/solution-optimal-stopping-pro…
I kid. Just buy all the headphones you can.
It's like keyboards or sneakers or whatever you're into, you need all the flavours and colourways. If you have a good collection of Beyers though, the TYGR's are a totally different animal and for the plebs they can basically use the Fox as a budget DAC so its got alot of value for everyone.
I’m on my 8th pair. I’d say keep them growing like my socks in the drawer.
Sorry about your wallet.
1x open back midfi
1x closed back midfi
Something bluetooth
True wireless or something for the gym
Maybe a gaming/work headset or tv headphones
After that, you need to buy something more expensive or replace something.
I don’t make the rules.
(I do break them)
so by that logic I have
1 x Philips SHP9500
1 x Audio Technica M50x
1 x Bose QC35ii
1 x 1more comfobuds pro, QCY T11, QCY T5
Sounds like I'm at that upgrade stage - Might replace those SHP9500 with some HD560s
Please don’t start and remind me that i have well over 60…..
Send them my way :P
@Fergy1987: Here you go :P https://www.head-fi.org/members/bcstyle.138577/about
@bcstyle: I was going to judge and say "pfft dont even have Dan Clark's"……but there they are haha
@Fergy1987: I've also got the Noires which is one of my favourites, been awhile since the list has been updated.
how many pairs of headphones is too many to own? is it just an n+1 situation?
