If so, what do you do with the extra keys? Over the years I realise I’ve been buying a lot of bundles mainly from Humble and Fanatical. And after looking through everything I realised I have over 500 duplicate keys! Just curious, do you guys give extra keys to friends, trade them or sell them?

No I don't buy game bundles
Yes but I try to avoid buying duplicates.
I have a list of unwanted keys to trade but never trade them X.xYes. I avoid dupes. But if its included because it's in a bundle that I don't select my own games. I give the key to a friend.
This, always give it away. But then it's rare I get duplicate keys of any real value because usually there's only one or two expensive games in a bundle and if I own them then I wouldn't buy the bundle. If I own one of two it's usually cheaper to just go buy the second one in a sale instead.
Any other key is worth at best a buck or two, easier to just give it away.
Used to. But humble lost value a few years ago. Only bought a few here and there, not that I bother to play them.
Same. I actually had to contact Humble Bundle a few years ago just to get access to my old account (and old bundles) from years prior.
Pretty much only get my games via bundles or giveaways. I rarely buy games on their own. I do sometimes get duplicates but I generally shuffle those extra keys over to family member accounts. That in itself is kind of a waste as they can access my account through sharing but if it's a multiplayer game we can co-op or something. I occasionally give keys to friends but they don't really game much…
I used to, but I haven’t bought any games for quite a while now.
Got about 150 giveaway games on Epic that I haven’t played yet, so it might be a while longer.Like quite a few people, I used to, but not much anymore. It's just not worth it unless there's a game I really want in the bundle. Even if I only spend $20 on bundles, that's still $20 that I could spend on a game (or something else) that I actually want and will play/use.
If I do get a bundle and I've got any extras, I either give them away or just add them to my daughter's Steam account if they're appropriate.
I've thought about selling or trading them, but it just smacks of effort. For all the people out there that are trying to scam you or get something for free, I just don't think it's worth it.
If anyone wants to trade some spare bundle keys, hit me up! I've got way too much duplicates and would prefer trading for something I would like to play!
If you really want add me on steam and check games you have to trade and see if I have them wish listed then we can start the trade.
I'm send you a dm.
Yes, and I have lots of spare keys too. I don't know what to do with them either. There's no easy way to sell or trade lots of keys. I wish Steam had a trade or credit system. This could be a goldmine if it's done right.
I can paste you my list and see if we can find some trades?
Reddit has whole subreddits for this I think it's called something like SGS or something.
But it is tiresome and you have to make a separate profile for it and then verify each other's trades and confirm it etc.
Can take a lot of time if you don't enjoy it.
If I wasn't lazy and sold all my spare keys for like $1-2 I probably could make a hundred or two a year maybe but it can be time consuming.
Many years ago I tried trading them on reddit.
But it was so much work I gave up and just ended up giving them away under the guise of friendship and charity but in reality I just hate seeing it be unused also if it is a game I play then that's one extra player I can kill.
Yes the police know my address.
Nowadays I just give to people who have it wish listed and if that fails I found a steam forum that allows key dumping and sharing of keys.
Sometimes I post it here on ozbargain if it is relevant and related.
Honestly we should just start a key dump thread on ozb and do one here.. Makes life simple.
But I mean I guess if you were not lazy and didn't mind strangers having your payment info you could just sell them for dirt cheap and put them in your 'beer' money.
I don't dump keys on the internet as they are always scrapped up by bots within seconds or taken by a leech that don't even have the courtesy to say thanks. I also don't sell spare bundle keys for money as to me it's pointless. I like to trade my duplicate keys for games that I don't have, and I've been doing that for years.
That's fair enough I'm the same way sometimes to each their own.
Any decent steam game keys? I don’t have anything to trade at present
I just got a Steam Deck and my steam library is pretty thin (mainly play console) so let me know if you have any spare games that you are wanting to sell - genre/age of game, im pretty easy (as long it isnt on Gamepass already lol!)
Yes and I never play them.
