I lost my cable and found this!… price isn't too bad, cheaper on ebay and dealextreme but the wait times on those can be much longer. I got my 32GB micro SD from shoppingsquare 1 day after my order.
My delivery cost was $5.95 ( Sydney, Metro )

Mind pointing me to a $1 Micro USB cable on eBay that delivered from a local warehouse? The cheapest I could find that delivers locally would be, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Colourful-Micro-USB-2-0-Data-Tran…
shopping square, local warehouse? huh?
you perhaps mistook this for ozIwantfastpostage instead of Ozbargain.
lowest dollar counts mate.
Rather, I was looking for cables that are being shipped within Australia. While $1 cable from Hong Kong is cheap, it isn't going to come quickly. Something $1 from eBay that arrives in 5 days or less will be pleasant.
Agreed, $6 for this is NOT a bargain! I'd rather get one off ebay for ~$1 shipped, if I really needed one in a hurry I would drive to PCCG and pick one up for $5.
Edit: I tried adding 10 to my basket and the "shipping" went to $32.73!!! I though it might have been a "bargain" if they shipped 10 for $5.95 :D
Much cheaper on eBay with free postage.
If you need it in a hurry might as well get the 2m for the same price

Isn't there a length limit in the USB standard, or in practice (in some cases)?
I don't think I'd want to trust "too long" of a cable, at least when HDD data is flowing through it. :-/
yes. it's 5 meters according to USB 2.0 specs. however, i've not seen a 5m usb cable before.
yeah i have a 5m usb cable connected to a 1-2m extender and it still seems to work for my laser printer
i have a 5 meter usb connected to my laster printer too. works get for 3 years and no prob still
shoppingsquare are not that quick with getting their items out anyway, unless they are posting by express. So yeah kind of defeats the whole get it quick claim, well in my experiences anyway (took 2 weeks to metro melb for small items). Local or not it's still just a generic cord the same as you would find on ebay. NOT a bad deal, but not amazing IMO.
total cost not that cheap for a data cable
they were $2 delivered a couple of days ago http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/70356
and periodically from meritline, 1.1m 2pk for $1.09
$6 is a high price for this item, its not a bargain as this item is able to be purchased at a lower price from many other sellers.
Also, my experience with shopping square's postage is that its very slow, in fact one of the slowest ever to receive an item. Is this cable posted from Australia or overseas?
Bought a few of these as I keep misplacing this type of cables.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Micro-USB-Data-Sync-Cable-Blackbe…
Postage took a couple weeks though.
LOL, just read this on shopping square webste and it seems this item is shipped from overseas and can take 1-2 weeks. Where is the deal? Could buy on ebay for 1 or 2 dollars and postage will be about the same time.
I don't believe $6 for this cable is cheap when as previously mentioned there is cheaper on ebay.
cost way too much. any computer store u can get it for under $5 bux.
"price isn't too bad"
Even the OP doesn't think it is a good deal.
Not a bargain.
I am not aloud to give Neg, so here is my Neg -1 Post.

Lol that's crazy.
shipping kills
Oh dear. So NOT a bargain. Sub $3.00 delivered - from AU sellers - on eBay.
$5.95 to deliver a cable?
I don't think so.
I just had two arrive today from o/s for less than that. deal fail
terrible price
Sorry, $1 on eBay. I ain't gonna pay 6 bucks for it. No thanks
