Electric guitar, while technically accurate, is a bit disingenuous.

    That's a bass.

    • It's a 4 strings guitar :p

    How many sold for $289.99?

  • First thought when I saw this - damn, that's cheap. Second thought - anyone who has kids has almost certainly had friends/family buy them irritating, noisy toys (drums, recorders etc.). This is a great way of getting your own back. Buy their kids one of these, pair it with a cheap amp from AliExpress and wait for the angry phone calls "Why the hell did you buy the little brat something like that?!?! I'll kill you when I see you!!!!!"

Sadly, my sisters' kids have all left home now or I'd be getting several of these.

I got my nephew a "The Wiggles" guitar. The parents loved it >:)

Yep, you simultaneously become the "fun uncle" and the "hated brother". :)

    • Or, you could buy this with a headphone amp and pair of headphones and be kind…

      • Pffftt, what'd be the point in that?

  • Any non Bass versions available?

Did you forget the 4 from your user name? Surely Slapper504… Slap like bass.

  • Tempting, but I was really holding out for a Blitzen.

  • Anyone had any experience with Donner equipment? Quality? Sound? I know this and their other gear is on the cheaper side, but does it hold up?

    • I've got a few Donner pedals, fuzz, delay and reverb and all of them are solid and sound good. Shipping is pretty quick too.

I can't personally vouch for their guitars though as i don't own any, but i watch lots and lots of guitar gear related youtube videos and their guitars get a good rap

  • Youtube reviews that i watched look good and people were saying it was good value for the money at around $150USD. So for $100AUD it'd be a no brainer if you were in the market for a cheapy.
It'd be a good beginner or beater bass.

      I'm tempted.

My son enjoys the Davie504 videos.

Plan is to grab a 2nd hand amp from Gumtree / Ebay,..

Thank you for commenting. Led me to search. He has great videos!

  • if thats a bass, its actually not a bad price for a starter, but id still recommend a yamaha or ibanez entry level if you feel like you'll stick with the instrument
