Great price especially with the PS5 upgrade.. I've wasted a lot of time on this game on Gamepass 🪐

  • Can't remember if I've bought anything from EB Games eBay - but do they send gutted games, just like in-store?

Asking because I have a $10 eBay voucher.

    • +1

I bought about 3 games from them (via the eBay store), and they've arrived intact and undamaged. You should be fine

        Cheers! Thanks a bunch.

    • Gutted meaning not in plastic wrapping? Then it depends on how many in stock, if low stock, most likely they'll send them directly from stores' display stock, i.e. no plastic wrap.

Bought 2 games last week and arrived yesterday with no wrapping.

Fair enough. Ultimately, it doesn't really matter - but it's just nice knowing that it is genuinely brand new.

I personally don't classify storing a disc in a drawer and repackaging it in a scuffed case as "brand new".

        • I personally don't classify storing a disc in a drawer and repackaging it in a scuffed case as "brand new"

Make that: leaving greasy fingerprints on the disc surface that might permanently eat into the disc surface while storing a disc in a drawer and repackaging it in a scuffed case.

ive been playing this for about 7 days in VR on PC. Easily the best VR game i've played.I dropped 20 hours on it in under a week which is absolutely insane for me. I'm not sure how good it would be on PSVR but i imagine it will be as good or better when PSVR2 comes out if you have a ps5

PSVR is super low res, highly doubt it would be a game one could play for hours on end. Most def something Id like to play on the next gen version or even Quest 2, if either was an option.

      • +1

I've got the PSVR and Quest 2, and I don't think the lower resolution is that bad, but I was gaming In the 80s on super low resolution stuff. As long as the game is good and the VR is responsive I think you can enjoy gaming in VR for long periods of time on PSVR.

Quest 2 would have no chance playing it without linking to a PC. Air link causes noticable lag so I'd prefer a tethered experience for smooth gaming.

As soon as we bought our Quest 2 and saw its potential we bundled everything bought for the PSVR and got rid of it the next week knowing too well it was past its prime.

All the power to you or anyone for that matter that can play VR games in low res and especially for extended periods of time!

          • @cristobaljamesy: Unfortunately there is a few VR games locked to PSVR, hopefully PSVR 2 allows us the option to play them on PS5 with higher resolutions.

    • I don't have PSVR but do have a PS4. Should I buy this or possible wait for the Steam summer sale and get it so I can play it on my Oculus Quest 2?

      • i tried it on a normal screen after giving it a heap of hours in VR and for me it was night and day, the VR experience elevated the game to a whole other level. My vr headset was collecting dust prior to NMS. Having said that it might not be for everyone one. I can imagine it could give you motion sickness if your susceptible to that. For me, i would get it for your Quest.

      • To help with motion sickness get a pedestal fan and blow it in your face while using VR, the air blowing against your face for some reason helps with countering VR motion sickness. It only helps, it doesn't prevent it though.

I always use a fan. More for keeping me centered and reference for direction. Especially while playing Superhot. I reckon I would have punched my tv already without it.

@pufffdragon: Tip: My kids use my VR and I was always having a go at them for moving outside the area and nearly hitting walls etc. What I did was to put a doormat/bathmat in the middle of their play area. Having tiles in that room, they can instantly feel when they have moved off centre. This reduces my stress levels when I see them playing on the VR.

This is an amazing game compare to the POS that was dished up on launch. This is the story of how a developer turns around and listens to players feedback even after launch (although it might have won a bigger audience if it was all done in the first place).

    • Yea haha, I bought it for like $5 a month or two after release. Update after update has added to much to the game, it's almost unrecognisable compared to the first release.

  • Game keeps evolving - honestly kinda wish I had a digital copy but the digital price is crazy.

I got this $9 on ebay (twice even) it's worth $15 just to see what it's like.
