Subway will be giving away for pulled pork subs $1 at their Sydney Olympic Park restaurant at the first State of Origin game of the season, kicking off at 5pm on June 8. The link I found didn't confirm if it was footlong or six inch but hopefully fingers crossed it's footlong. Only for the first 1000 customers. They also will be giving away free cookies and water which I assume is bottled water until they run out.
Blues all the way. Unfortunately I probably won't make the game due to the lack of seating which I just tried to get but will try and get the cheap sub.

They are doing 2 for 1 for these on Door Dash.
Haven’t tried it, but companies often do these sorts of things and promotions to get people to try a product that they think is a winner in the hopes of getting customers to like and recommend it to others and buy full price next time (or it is crap, they are overstocked on forecasted production as a result and need to clear that crap out.. hahaha)
I tried it and liked it but doesn't compare to a low n slow bbq joint by any means and the footlong was like $13
Pulled pork isn't bad at all! Only sauce to get with it is the smokey bbq though. I've tried most of the other sauces with it but nothing is as good.
Only thing with Subway recently though is that they've seriously cranked up the prices. Like not by 50c or $1… some of the subs have gone up a few bucks. The cheapest ones (meatball, pizza etc) are now $12 something… and the chicken classic is $14 something. The pulled pork footlong is almost $15.
I know prices are going up everywhere… but there's been a massive jump unfortunately.
