Hi all. My partner is after a pretty decent Android tablet.
It will mainly be used in classroom for a small amount of apps, video editing, data collection and entry, taking photos and video, and streaming.
Looking to spend $500 to $600.
Doesn't have to be cellular, can be wifi. And option with memory card.
Go wild with your suggestions. Thank you in advance everyone!

Case sensitive?

Nope. Does it bring up the drop down menu when you go tag?
@Clear: No
@MS Paint: I think if you opt into beta features in your account it'll let you tag.

Beta activated now
@MS Paint: Yup that did it

Just buy a Samsung S8 Tablet from the education store for $900.
So nothing decent in $500-600 range?
S6 lite or s7 fe.
do not get a Samsung galaxy tab s6 lite. it is an underpowered piece of shite which takes forever to boot up.
xiaomi mi pad from aliexpress
Local or overseas? If you buy local you're mostly stuck with Samsung where you'll pay a premium, but get local warranty and more years of updates.
Overseas the Xiaomi Pad 5 is probably my favourite option. Has a really good display, 128GB or 256GB storage, Snapdragon 860 CPU, Dolby sound, large battery, will get an update or two and just feels really premium.
Another option is the Lenovo P11 Pro 2021 that's more powerful than the Xiaomi Pad 5, but the OLED display is pentile so it can look less sharp and blacks don't look as good. A downside of this tablet is that it never had an official global release so the ROM is a Chinese translated one. Below that is the P11 Pro 2020 that offers a less powerful CPU but is pretty similar in everything else and received an official Global ROM.
Otherwise the Lenovo P11 is a good choice as it has a decent IPS display, battery and storage, as well as the Snapdragon 662 that's not as good as the others and starting to show it's age. You can pick up the 4GB/128GB version locally at JB with many stores selling it for $348 on clearance. The downside with these 3 Lenovo tablets is that they're unlikely to ever get updated past Android 11.
Perfect, thank you so much!
