We’ve got one of these in our baby’s room and the older version in our 3yo’s room and they’ve been running 10-12 hours a day without fail.
Great for providing background noise so drown out noises while the kids are sleeping

CamelCamelCamel. Those are two interesting professions to combine.
Ask ALEXA to play white noise for free!
I’ve tried with Google home and it has a noticeable noise dip when the track finishes and starts again every hour.
What's the fidelity like? We bought a Nodiee Sleep Assist Smart but are returning it (60 day satisfaction policy) as the audio quality was noticeably inferior to the built-in iPhone 8 speaker (specifically the rain noise tracks). Not sure if that's to do with the audio tracks or their encoding, or the actual speaker.
Serious question, do you think the fidelity makes any difference to the effectiveness in putting/keeping an infant to sleep?
Not sure, but as the baby is still in our room, and the HnK likes to have rain sounds on when she sleeps, so the sound quality is important.
For anyone whose baby is still in utero, there was a fascinating discussion on Radio National that included playing scales to your bump and then when the baby is born, playing the scales in the same direction (ascending or descending) actually calms the baby down and slows their heart rate, even while asleep. 🤯

I used to use my previous phone, there's a few free apps that can run all night and set timers/combination of sounds. Last through the night on airplane mode.
