Flights for Brisbane to South Africa, leaving July 11

Hi, just after some help with finding flights from Brisbane to Durban leaving July 11 and returning July 23 with bags.

Tried Kiwi.com which get's me good deals but not great prices. Don't want to do the super long flights (eg 45 hours). Found good prices from Singapore to Durban @ $1648 but those have gone now. Usual method is to get to Singapore or Malaysia and look for prices from there. Looking at $2690 to jhb via sin and cairns, then around $200 to get to Durban.

    Flights to/From Jo Burg have always been expensive and then you want to on fly to Durban….

    Friends have a few times gone via middle east and to Sydney then up to BrisVegas.

    And you want to get from Brisbane to Durban.

      the super long flights are 45 hours vs 25 hours

        Then I believe your only option is Brisbane —> Sydney —> Johannesburg —> Durban

        Only QANTAS do the Sydney Jo'burg in a B789

        You spend a lot of time over water and head way South.
