Same here. They do some really good apps. Gallery is my main photo app now. Can't comment on the rest.
Google Photos has no ads. Sm i missing something?
I just really like the way it works and the layout. I can easily create folders (folders within folders too) and arrange all my photos whereas I find Google photos to be difficult for this.

Same. Simple gallery is very functional and lightweight.
Only issue is that there's no more hidden file access in the new version of the app, which the development has stated is a play store limitation. It's really upset my workflow and usage though.
The developer has an alternate version (which he states "This version won't be on Google Play") in the F-Droid repository.
Likely that version doesn't have that limitation.

Or you can install through the F-Droid app itself… Except when I tried it didn't look directly to the apk, and so failed. YMMV…
The Notes app has an excellent widget so you can display reminders and lists on your home screen.

I really like this developer. I use their gallery and photos app. Its simple, lightweight, no pops. Highly recommend.
