Shame it's at HN but this monitor seems to tick most of the boxes for a budget ultrawide, I just ordered mainly for WFH and a bit of gaming on the side. Fair bit of stock about Aus wide at the moment.
Edit: Is a flat panel monitor

Nice, I still need to work on that scout badge then, $565.11 for non plus members as well
join for a month and cancel it so only costs you $5
For that size and wide better not flat.
I have an Acer XV340CKP which it the exact same size and resolution, except only 144Hz. It's flat and I don't have any issues with it being a flat panel. Just want to put it out there
It definitely is a good price and I paid more for my Acer monitor a year ago.
Curved will be a bit better when you look at the left or right side.
Curved if that size in my opinion, have tried both and ended up buying a curved for my WFH setup
Got the kogan one, imo just the right size for flat. It's only a few inches wider than a 27".
Shame…
What is the model of this monitor's panel?
The HP x27q, which I believe is a pretty similar monitor but just the 1440p 27" counterpart, can come with 2 panels. LGD LM270WQA and BOE MV270QHM. In Europe, it can ship with BOE MV270QHM which has pretty horrid viewing angle compared to LGD LM270WQA. So I was wondering if the ultrawide version (HP x34) ships with the worse or the better panel.
Currently torn between this and the GIGABYTE G34WQC. It has a VA panel so its contrast ratio is 3 times better but can have worse viewing angles if this HP one ships with the better panel.
