I'm on a Boost (Telstra network) prepaid plan and the 5G sign showed up on my phone (Samsung S21 Ultra) today. Haven't received any messages from Boost re a 5G rollout on the 1st of June, and I haven't downloaded/installed any software update, so I was wondering if anyone else on Boost here Adelaide got 5G enabled on their phone today or before? I read on a post here in the past that Telstra phones (5G capable ones) had access to 5G, but Boost didn't have it.

Based on what i read last week, You can access telstra 5G if youre on their $70 monthly plan
https://boost.com.au/blogs/help-topics/5g-trial
"From 30 May, we'll be rolling out a 5G access trial for Boost customers. To be eligble for the trial you need to have an active recharge, a 5G compatible device and be in a 5G coverage area. The trial will run until 26 September 2022."

Most of the three real telcos will test 5G before it is officially turned on and as such it may work for a few days and then go off or stay on or be sporadic for the next week or two while they commission the tower(s) and test them.
