  • Pretty sure these are just cheap charge cables, not MFi

    • not MFI and you are so sure becasue ???

      • +1

        Check the Amazon comments

      • Apparently Apple charges, or used to charge $4 per mfi connector.

If something is too good to be true it, it probably is.

  • I ordered this brand a year ago.
The pack did not claim MFI certified.
The cables work fine, no “not genuine accessory” error.
I haven’t done any performance testing or anything, but the one next to my bed has charged my ipad every day for a year, and another in the car gets used occasionally with no problems. Another gets used by a kid with no issues.

For me, a cautious thumbs up.

    • mskeggs, can you confirm if these are fast charging? I've bought cheap lightning cables in the past but they seen to only charge at a max of 5 watts.

      • Hmm. Not sure how to check what the fastest charge would be.
I have a charger with a green port that charges my ipad at 1.6A with one of these cables, so it exceeds 5watts.
But I don't know if my v6 iPad can charge any faster than that, lol!

  • Thanks Op Ordered

  • 5 pack from Groupon (not MFI certified) is $12.95. so not bad for 6. https://www.groupon.com.au/deals/deals-global-trade-au-20
