    Is this for real?

  • +2

Can't see how it reduces mobile phone radiation, the only shielding part appeared to be over the myki itself (which I'm surprised was necessary, as far as I'm aware, the iphone doesn't have anything NFC-style), while the iphone antennae are around the edge.

I just personally detest any product that claims to alleviate health concerns by reducing EMF; in my opinion it's combining two lies at once and simply playing off people's fear of the unknown. Otherwise, your product seems really cool and I'd probably try it out if I had an iphone.

Nice video, I am forever loosing my myki in my manbag.

Also, if your usual price is $29.95 wouldn't 50% off make it $14.97 and not $19.99?

    • No marcusv..
MRRP is $39.99. On the website, it shows as $29.99 as we also promote our products ourselves.
For OzBargain users, we offer a different discount which is 1/2 price sale!!!!

On eBay, we sell them at MRRP. the cheapest place to buy is our own website as promoted.
I hope this resolves your concern in relation to the sale price.

I also like all the comments you have sockpuppeted like "thank you to T-PLUS austraila~"

Why couldn't someone just put their myki in the back of their existing iPhone case?
    Thats all this does…
and the cost of that would be $0…

(oh and this apparently blocks the evil boogie monster "electromagnetic fields (mobile phone radiation or RF) emitted from your iPhone" so perhaps thats worth forking out $ for….)

TPlusAustralia: That's a very amateur response. This is not a schoolyard fight. Counter SBOB's response logically. I don't see why anyone needs to fork out more money when we can just shove the myki card on the back of the phone case (even Android phones zomgwtf)

      • +3

Done, works like a charm. Thanks for the advice TPlusAustralia! You saved me from you!

      • +1

Thank you T-PLUS Australia. I just tried it, playing my myki card behind me existing case. Works like a charm :D

For a freaking piece of plastic?

  • I'd rather something like this

  • case-mate has some good credit card iphone cases, which hold two cards

3.No more health concerns. T-Plus' EMF Shield (patent product) block/reduce electromagnetic fields (mobile phone radiation or RF) emitted from your iPhone.

Any real PROOF to back up this claim? Or are you just trying to scare people to buy your product which more than likely, would not make any difference to your health

The "EMF radiation" is just the radio waves emitted from the phone. These are kind of…required to communicate with the base tower, so the phone actually works. Surely the iPhone has enough reception problems without reducing them even more, assuming this "EMF Shield" even works. And if it does, that the phone doesn't just amp up its broadcast signal to compensate (thus reducing battery life).

Save some money; slip the card into your existing phone case, voila. For those without a phone case, try sticky taping your MyKi to the phone.
Alternatively, just keep your MyKi in the same pocket you keep your phone in. Then you're not fishing around for it in your bag like an idiot. And you don't have to take your phone out to touch on.

I'd love to see what would happen when the Machine is not working…I personally bang the card on the machine with frustration…that wouldn't be too nice on the phone…Myki rage…LOL

I'd also love to see the inspectors' face when handing them your phone for checks!!!

They are also promoting it for free here: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/melbourne-cbd/other-events-ti…

Well…free if you agree to promote it for them.

Read this on the train on the way in this morning. Slipped my Myki into the back of my Belkin Grip Vue case and voila, touched off at Nth Melb without a problem. Thanks for the idea of a a safe place to stash the myki - and saved myself $20 (or $40rrp)!

      Well it's proven then!
      No bargain here.

Snakeoil Tech no real science behind this crap…

  • +1

All these items that claim to reduce electromagnetic fields are only wasting your battery and wallet

When these block / reduce the signal, you phone increases the power to overcome the block otherwise it won't function.

    Stay away!

  • +2

As many others have said, EMF shields only make your phone put out more power and waste your battery. NEG

    • +1

More importantly, it puts out more radiation and you still need to put it up to your ear, so you're not only getting EMF to the head, you're getting a higher dose as it needs to output more signal power (radiation) to reach the tower via your head, instead of out the back of the device.

so neg'ing because if the above & the fact it's just a $10 case (which many would have).

I'm not related to the seller, but please try to be little softer for the seller.,.,

I think idea is pretty good, and I am about to buy it as usual EMF shield case I found was US50 somewhere, but true that iPhone 4 antenna is at the edge, and I doubt whether this can product from radiation.

I'm waiting for an answer from the seller whether this EMF shield is tested.

I feel pity that such a good idea products are not being promoted properly,

Other than pricing, please have a look at website for a good idea product.

To Seller, It wasn't too good idea for you to come to Ozbargain as Ozbargainers are very sharp and clear about pricing and discount.

You got a wrong concept of discount coupon.,., hope you amend someway, and bring some sales when you release in the market officially.

Remember that power of Ozbargain is really huge, and you won't be disappointed when you satisfy ozbarganers.
