Just bought, thanks OP!
I had this, it is actually pretty rubbish. I sold mine on ebay and took a substantial loss I can still struggling to recover from.
It is not a kayak, it is an inflatable pool toy shaped like a kayak.
What this effectively means is that it is not suitable for the beach, or if winds exceed 5km / hour, because it is easily blown around by wind or even mild waves, constantly at risk of capsizing or simply being buffeted way off course from whatever you are trying to do.
I was really disappointed, because inflatable stand up paddleboards become pretty rigid once inflated and are a reasonable substitute for a proper solid one, but this is not even close to real kayak standard.
I have one of these because we're traveling Australia full time and it is more convenient than carrying a full size double kayak on the roof racks. We've used it in heaps of places (half of them beaches) dozens of times and it is still going strong. Sure, it isn't an exact substitute for a hard kayak, but we've never had any real issue with it. We've never capsized, and we've taken it over some pretty decent waves at the beach. Normally we use it on rivers and lakes, and there it is at least as stable as a rigid kayak, probably less likely to tip. Wind does become a problem on very windy days, but that is the same as when I'm on my isup.
I agree that it isn't a perfect substitute for a rigid kayak, but it is definitely more than just a pool toy and I've definitely gotten my moneys worth out of it.
We've had so much fun with ours. Great deal.
